Silky, vibrant and rich, this Bourgogne oozes across the palate, showing its ripe vintage in the best of possible ways. As unabashedly sexy as this wine is, the fruit is nonetheless energetic, and bright acidity propels this Bourgogne to a complex, satisfying and lingering finish. Deriving from a collection of old-vine Marsannay vineyards with clay and limestone soils, this wine is about one-third whole clusters that fermented for about three weeks; the wine aged in barrel, one-third new, for twelve to fifteen months before bottling.
