The 2016 Nuits Saint Georges 1er Cru Aux Murgey was showing a bit of VA on the nose that made it difficult to read. The palate is sweet and candied on the entry with good grip, although for me this is missing the finesse and terroir expression of the premier cru Moreys from Lignier-Michelot. Maybe this will improve once in bottle.
